Looking north towards Carnforth on 19 June 2010 as First Trans Pennine Express 185133 passes Bolton-le-Sands with the 1325 service from Barrow-in-Furness to Manchester Airport. Following close behind this unit was the 1208 First Trans Pennine Express service from Edinburgh to Manchester Airport. The two portions join at Preston for the final part of the journey.
