Merchiston
A 1972 view along the Caledonian trackbed towards Slateford Yard from Shandon Place road bridge, just to the south west of Merchiston station. Shortly before reaching the yard the Caledonian line crossed the 'sub' on an overbridge, visible in the centre background see image 11416.
