Looking along the trackbed and platform remains at Merchiston on 5 October 2006. View is east towards the former Princes Street terminus. This section of the old route now serves as the eastern access to Slateford Yard (behind the camera). The road entry from Harrison Gardens is to the right where the JCB is parked.
