The joint NER/MR Hawes station in November 2004. The building now houses the Dales Countryside Musem, complete with a short length of track and static display of a locomotive and 3 coaches alongside the westbound platform. The locomotive purporting to be G5 0-4-4T 67345 is in fact No 12, (RSH 7845/1955) an 0-6-0T that worked at the CEGB Hams Hall Power Station until about 1970. The real 67345 was cut up at Darlington at the end of 1955.
