Preston
The last run for this summer of The Welsh Mountaineer on 25
August 2010 sees ex-LMS 8F 2-8-0 no 48151 'Gauge O Guild' charge southwards along the WCML from Preston with whisps of steam emanating from the cylinder draincocks. The train is about to cross Factory Lane, Penwortham. Summer must be over as this is the first dry and bright Wednesday morning that this train has seen!
