Swansea East Dock
Peckett 0-4-ST no 1152 stands alongside Swansea East Dock shed on 28 June 1959. The locomotive had been built in 1907 (originally number 12) for the Swansea firm of Powlesland and Mason who supplied locomotives and crews for use in Swansea Docks until eventually being merged with the GWR in 1924. No 1152 was the last of the former P&M locomotives in service with BR, being eventually withdrawn in 1963.
