Laigh Milton Viaduct

Looking beyond the description board of Laigh Milton Viaduct on 23 July 2010 towards the historic structure spanning the River Irvine in East Ayrshire. The 1812 viaduct, which once carried the Kilmarnock and Troon Railway, was closed in 1846 when the railway was realigned. Restored between 1992 ad 1996, access today is via a path alongside the river.
