Clay Cross South Junction

Peak class 45 no D61 The Royal Army Ordnance Corps passes Clay Cross South Junction south of Chesterfield with a down express in July 1971. If the reporting number is correctly displayed, the destination must be Manchester Piccadilly and the train will be the 06.50 from St. Pancras. Although this started and finished its journey in the LMR, it traversed the ER for a short distance hence the 1M number.
