Semaphores out of use. Blackpool North No.1 signal box closed recently leaving just No.2, seen here, and then Carleton Crossing controlling the line to Poulton-le-Fylde. The semaphore distants here have large crosses on the arms indicating they are not in use as the home signal(s) they protect are also out of use.
