Prospect Hill Junction
Just beyond Prospect Hill Junction, with Whitby West Cliff station behind the camera, looking south on 21 August 1971. See image 32465. On the left the line to Scarborough heads out onto Larpool Viaduct in the background. On the right the line to Whitby Town curves down towards Bog Hall Junction, passing below the viaduct before running along the north shore of the Esk to reach Town station.
