Fylde Junction
Boxing Day morning sees the northern approaches to Preston deserted. The lines in the foreground, passing the 25kv feeder station, are for Lancaster while those on the right lead to Blackpool. Stock is rarely stabled at Preston these days so the holding sidings in front of the power box are also empty. The point heaters look to be working though.
