All that remains of the fairly substantial hospital railway station are the ten concrete blocks that used to support the platform, sidescreens and canopy and the crumbling brick base of the old waiting area. The blocks are seen here in March 2011 looking along the last bit of trackbed towards the yard, where the former engine shed still stands. The line closed completly in 1957.
