Wennington Junction
Hurried Pacer substitution? Heading for Morecambe, 150275 was still displaying Manchester Victoria on its rear destination blind as it left Wennington. The Sprinter is just passing the former junction for the Lune Valley line through Halton to Green Ayre and about to swing right for Melling Tunnel on the Carnforth line. The recess in the foreground was for Wennington signal box, only removed a few years ago. See image 13328
