Burnley
A Blackpool South to Colne service has left Burnley Central en-route to Brierfield on 9 July 2011. This view north from Danes House Road bridge is almost unrecognisable from that of 50 years ago. At that time it was double track and ran all the way to Skipton, the area on the left was a reasonable sized goods yard and there would not have been many trees around except in the far distance beyond the gasometer.
