Ardwick
Framed by the footbridge that provides the sole access to Ardwick's island platform, 323229 passes over Ardwick Junction on its way to Stockport. The junction was where the GCR met the LNWR outside Manchester (London Rd) station. The right hand of the two lines in the foreground leads into Ardwick depot, opened in 2006 to maintain the TPE Class 185 fleet.
