Taking the back road at Carnforth, ready for a crew change at the far end of the station, are a sparkling 66428, sister 66417 and five nuclear flask wagons on the 6C53 Crewe to Sellafield. On the right, DRS BRCW Type 3 No. 33030 can be seen in store with other locos in the West Coast Railway yard. The Sellafield trains were diverted via Carlisle for a period in early 2011 See image 33441 while Arnside viaduct was repaired but are now taking the coast line through Ulverston again.
