Stamford
The delightful station of the former Midland Counties Railway at Stamford, Lincolnshire, looking west on 27 September 2011. Although there are only two operational platforms today, the one on the left has many indications that at one time it was an island platform. The disused (and slightly derelict) signalbox can be seen beyond the main station building.
