An Air France jet about to land at Edinburgh Airport in June 2008 flys low over the railway viaduct spanning the River Almond carrying the line between Edinburgh and the Forth Bridge. The location is just north of the site of the former Turnhouse station (closed 1930) and approximately 2 miles north of the planned interchange at Gogar where future passengers will transfer between trains and trams to connect with the airport.
