Bungay
A westward view through one of the three road bridge arches at Bungay station in June 1976. This station had been closed to all traffic in 1964 and the remains seen here, including the bridge, were swept away in the early 1980s when the A143 was rerouted along the trackbed. The brick column visible is the former water tower base, the tank which used to rest on it having been salvaged for use at Weybourne on the North Norfolk railway.
