Bathgate Junction

The light was very poor on the approach to Bathgate (now Newbridge) Junction on Sunday 7 March 1971 necessitating the use of a rather slow shutter speed - which is only too obvious here. The train, a diverted Glasgow Queen Street (Low Level on this occasion) - Edinburgh Waverley service, is about to join the E&G main line eastbound towards Edinburgh. See image 35524
