Philadelphia Works
With a lady driver, Sir Nigel Gresley gingerly negotiates the NCB track at Philadelphia in 1971. Pit Headgear complete with pulley wheels shows above the tender. Bill Hoole was on the footplate that day, having been invited to meet up with his preferred locomotive from his driving days in the 1950's.
