Wortley Junction

A morning Harrogate - Kings Cross express, hauled by 47521, rounds the tight curve on the approach to Wortley Junction, Leeds, on 30 April 1977. The trackwork in the area has obviously been severely rationalised but recently enough that the usual birch forest has not had time to establish.
