Bolton-le-Sands
On the day the contractors moved in to upgrade Bolton-le-Sands level crossing, 150228 passes on a Morecambe to Leeds service. The station, closed in 1969 and removed, was on the right of the picture See image 20171. Nearby Hest Bank and Bare Lane crossings are also being modernised during Spring 2012 with their signal boxes scheduled to disappear.
