Main Street Level Crossing [Kelty]
Newly installed sculpture on Kelty Main Street to commemorate the Blairenbathie branch which crossed nearby at the 'White Gates' and served various collieries and a gasworks. Bears a passing resemblance to a Hunslet 'austerity' 0-6-0ST. One of this type worked at the Opencast Executive's Kelty Disposal Point, closed in 1962. See image 36699.
