Lathen
Oil-fired 2-10-0 No. 043 606 heads south through the cutting at Lathen on the Rheine - Emden line in 1975. The line was famous for the double-headed trains conveying imported iron ore from the docks at Emden but the bogie hoppers depicted here appear to be empty and had probably conveyed export coal to Emden on their outward journey.
