All that remains of the Station, coal holding sidings and staiths complex at Amble in 2012. Once served by a branch from the ECML (Chevington) and NCB lines from Broomhill, Togston, Radcliffe and Hauxley. The Station closed to scheduled passenger services in 1930, other than occasional excursions. The lines were lifted after coal exports through the harbour ceased in 1969. View is west, the Staiths complex was located behind the camera.
