Preserved Black 5 No. 45231 makes a smoky departure from Carlisle as it approaches St. Nicholas Bridge with the southbound 'Fellsman' on 14th September, the last day of operation in 2011. The disused goods lines from London Road Junction to Rome Street Junction are on the left.
