This station, between Lincoln and Sleaford, was originally known as Blankney and Metheringham and closed in 1961. It reopened in 1975 as plain Metheringham but the signalbox that controls the level crossing is still known as Blankney. The rebuilt station is here viewed looking north towards Lincoln from the level crossing.
