76022 heads through Penistone towards Sheffield in July 1981 with a train of scrap from Dewsnap Sidings in Dukinfield. Meantime 45001, employed that afternoon on trip workings between Penistone and Dodworth Colliery, is about to shunt a half-load of power station coal into the sidings at Barnsley Junction.
