The WVR was carried across the River Wye between Wales and England on Penallt Viaduct, running between Penallt Halt on the Monmouthshire bank (left) and Redbrook station on the Gloucestershire side. These were two of the closest stations on the network being only a quarter of a mile apart - albeit located in different countries. The old viaduct, seen here in November 2005, is now in use as a public path.
