Welsh's Bridge Junction

This spring 1968 shot shows just how extensive Inverness carriage sidings then were. A train from the south pulls into the station, passing a train from the north which will in a few minutes propel back into the southbound platforms. On the right is a green-liveried DMU and two wooden 'BD' containers standing at the biscuit warehouse siding.
