The arrival of this train at Greenfaulds on 26 July 2006 put an end to some of the best cross-platform chat-up lines I have ever heard. The train is a Motherwell - Cumbernauld service and, while the two young men remained on the grass verge, by the time it had restarted its journey, the ladies had boarded a Falkirk Grahamston - Glasgow Queen Street train, which is currently approaching from the right. I wonder if their paths ever crossed again....
