Greenfaulds
A4 Pacific 60007 'Sir Nigel Gresley' at speed near Greenfaulds with the 5.30pm 'St Mungo' three-hour express from Glasgow to Aberdeen in September 1964. Much though I agree with fellow Railscot contributor Peter Todd as to the delights of the present-day 'Indian Summer' of HSTs in Scotland (see 87639), I am afraid I cannot quite get reconciled with the idea of it achieving 'even par' with the A4 one!
