Blackpool Centenary tramcar 644 was retired in 2011,along with the rest of its classmates. Since 2002 it had advertised Farmer Parrs Animal World at Broadwater near Fleetwood and has gone there with a view to it becoming a gift shop and cafe. It is seen here on site awaiting conversion to its new role. See image 31291 for the same tram in service in 2010. Centenary 648 has been retained in the Blackpool and Fleetwood heritage fleet but the other seven tramcars in that class have all found new homes.
