Regua
A narrow gauge railbus in the bay platform at Regua, waiting to form a service up the Corgo Valley to Vila Real. Alongside are the broad gauge tracks of the Douro Valley main line. The railbus will run on mixed gauge track to just beyond the distant motorway bridge before turning north See image 18600. The truncated Corgo metre gauge line finally closed completely two years after this picture was taken.
