As this sign is between two platforms (at Brownhills West on the Chasewater Railway), it is obviously not in its original location. Nonetheless, it's an excellent example of a maintenance boundary marker. I remember finding a couple of these in Pontymoile, on the South side of Pontypool, as the viaduct on the Blaenavon line was about to be demolished. I wasn't convinced I would have the strength to dig them out, let alone carry them home!
