Chatburn
After a day in Carlisle, 45305 brings The Fellsman railtour through the closed station at Chatburn on the evening of 22 August 2012. Although there is still bullhead rail and wooden sleepers on the Hellifield bound track, much has been relaid on the Clitheroe track including a section at the east end of the village with steel sleepers. Whilst there are few passenger services on this line, it has a regular daily flow of coal, logs and engineers trains (amongst other loads) heading south west towards Blackburn and onto the WCML at Farington Junction.
