Edinburgh Waverley
Welcome to the Dark Side. Work on refurbishment of the 'sub' got underway at Waverley in late 2012. The island platform, which stands outside the south wall of the main station building, is seen here in June 2002 with a Newcraighall - Dunblane service having recently arrived at platform 21. The old canopy looks a little the worse for wear, as does the station entrance on Market Street in the background (also included in the refurbishment programme).
