Guide Bridge

A double-headed eastbound freight trundles through Guide Bridge in 1978 with 76030 in the lead. The Tommies are on the now lifted tracks while over on the right, Class 40 40134 waits for a green signal with a Ford container train. The buildings in this view, and the footbridge, have since disappeared and the area between the platforms has been filled in leaving only the other two lines still active.
