Who would have thought in the early sixties, when the class was still in normal service on BR, that an ex-SDJR 2-8-0 would ever grace the metals of northern England? Preserved No. 13809 moves off from a stop at Wennington with the Carnforth to Hellifield leg of the 'Cumbrian Mountain Pullman' on March 27th 1982.
