Looking east towards Edinburgh over the platforms of Balgreen tram stop on 12 May with a Virgin Voyager passing on the right slowing on the approach to Haymarket. Murrayfield Stadium is visible on the far left with Edinburgh Castle standing on the horizon. The tram stop is on the site of the former Balgreen Halt station on the old Corstorphine branch. The station closed to passengers in 1967 with the branch itself closing completely the following year.
