Salwick
Electrification preparations at Salwick have also seen the Up side bridge being removed. This used to span three tracks and although its replacement is shorter it has still left space for two tracks should these be required in the future. Pacer 142014 hurrying through on a Blackpool North to Manchester Victoria service is a reminder that the wires can't come soon enough for this line.
