Kilbirnie [2nd]
A unique survivor, this mile post is situated in the gardens of the Bridgend Community Centre in Kilbirnie. Whilst it would have been situated in the environs of Kilbirnie Station, I'm not sure whether it would be either Glasgow & South Western or LMS vintage. Painted over at the base of the milepost on the left side it declares 35 miles to Grangemouth, and on the right hand side at the base it says Iron Works 35 miles (possibly Lugar or Muirkirk), again painted over.
