Wetherby South Junction
30925 Cheltenham and 40646 running round at Wetherby South Junction on 13 May 1962 under the A661 road bridge. The train standing in Wetherby station behind the camera is the RCTS East Midlander No 5 on its way from Church Fenton to Harrogate. The run round here was necessitated by the closure of the direct line between Wetherby East and West Junctions in 1961. Wetherby station closed in January 1964 and the site is now a walkway and car park. See image 54833
