Rosewell and Hawthornden
Looking east along the Peebles loop near the site of Rosewell & Hawthornden station (a third of a mile behind the camera) on 4 September 2013. The platforms survive here, though are now overgrown - see image 76442. This bridge over the trackbed links the east end of Rosewell with the A6094 that now bypasses the village. As indicated by the road sign, the view is towards Bonnyrigg.
