Rosewell and Hawthornden
Photograph taken at Rosewell and Hawthornden on 08 September 1962. This was the last day of passenger services at the station, which had retained a local DMU service to Waverley following closure of the Peebles Loop between Hawthornden Junction and Kilnknowe Junction, Galashiels, some 7 months earlier. The seat displays the name originally carried from the station's opening in 1855 until the change in 1928.
