Vickers Gun Range Sidings [Eskmeals]
Looking north east along the trackbed of the Eskmeals gun range branch towards the junction with the Cumbrian Coast line as a Carlisle to Barrow service passes on 27 July 2013. The Vickers Gun Range Sidings box that controlled the branch access closed in 1983. It had an unusual Ransomes and Rapier horse rake 11-lever frame that is now preserved at the NRM York.
