Holgate Junction
Brush Type 2 No 31 166 and an unidentified classmate bring a train of empty bogie bolster and open low-sided bogie wagons off the York station avoiding line at Holgate Junction in 1980. 'Duchess of Hamilton' can just about be discerned in the background waiting to take out the second of two trips it made that day round the Leeds - Harrogate circuit, its first outing following restoration to main-line running condition.
