Hurlford Shed
Class 2P 4-4-0 no 40640 stands in a line of condemned locomotives awaiting disposal at Hurlford shed in April 1962. 40640 had been withdrawn from Ayr in September 1961 and was scrapped at Connels, Coatbridge, in July 1963.
