Putbus
At 12.40 on 14th June the 06.00 charter from Leipzig and Berlin arrives at Putbus in the middle of the annual Railfest - the train is topped by ex-DR 01 0509-8 and tailed by ex-DR diesel 118 770-7. Note standard and narrow-gauge tracks merging in the foreground for the 5.8km dual-gauge final section of the Lauterbach Mole branch. The cost of a return ticket from Leipzig was just 89 Euros (about £75) for a round trip of around 600 miles.
